Hi Carlyn. That’s unfortunate and I can see how the revelation would be disheartening. I think it stems from women wanting to hear from men on how to approach relationships with them. But that plays into the larger issue referenced of men being regarded as a prize that we’re responsible for winning, while not many are taking women’s wants and desires into consideration. But that’s all the more reason you should get into the arena! We need more women like you to combat this :-)
