Hi Sharon. I’ve been there.. Not feeling taken care of in those rare instances definitely reinforces your independent outlook. Glad you’ve met someone with potential. I think it’s a great idea to have that conversation sooner rather than later. That way, they won’t misinterpret your independence and can also adjust their own behavior as needed, if desired.
