Oh man.. I can relate so much to what you said about it being easier if he was just a jerk. Again, consistency. If I know you’re just an ass, I can adjust accordingly. I still know what to expect from you. But it’s difficult to reconcile someone being a seemingly genuine, attentive, thoughtful, loving person then…not.
